We have a defined programme with 4 levels of support to take busy managers through the minimum requirements of leadership and positive influence with their reporting staff. This series of modular courses use real-world experiences to take all participants on a journey of blended learning, with classroom exercises and at-work application to ensure real business benefits occur from day one.

Module One – Define Measurement
Looking at base Key Performance Indicators for each department, understanding the formation, calculations, and benchmarking exercises to truly learn how to improve sales and reduce costs. Assessing Profit and Loss reports for the business, knowing the sales channels that the business operates and the associated direct and indirect costs, then identifying where improvements can be made. The foundation of all good management relies on accurate and timely financial data, this two-day course, with a focus on at–work-application will help focus the course participant in the right areas to assist in real business management. An Action plan is then created to take the classroom theory of financial learning into business change.
1-month gap to apply the learning – with an optional on-site visit to assess the individual in the workplace and coach them on the subject of financial measurement.
Module Two – Deliver Process
Taking each step process from sales of products to back-of-house aftersales support, we will help break down each step and help define where improvements can be made to deliver a right first time process
Avoiding rectification and return to workshop defects will pay for the programme investment. Plus asking participants to write the changes required will help wholly in the application of process change. An Action plan is then created to take the classroom theory into business process change.

Module Three – Delight Marketing
Looking at how the business exploits all it sales opportunities will be a 2-day activity led training programme. Following the principles of effective marketing, we will guide the participant on best practices to ensure measurable campaigns are written to help grow the business profitably within budget. Having agreed on a campaign, we will explain the importance of Customer Feedback at every stage to ensure the highest degree of success is realised towards true Customer Delight. An Action plan is then created to take the classroom theory into business process change.

Module Four – Retain People
Making sure the right people are in place working defined and measureable process is a very important part of the management role. Taking time to use skills gap analysis and job reviews against job descriptions will prove most effective. Many managers inherit teams that require staged change and this programme will help review capabilities and skills of staff whilst planning for change. Taking time to look at staff recruitment, what a good candidate looks like, how to find good staff, interview techniques, then onto retention techniques to use across the workforce. This two-day event will really help focus managers on getting the best from the existing staff and planning for people change where and when required. An Action plan is then created to take the classroom theory of retaining people and good staff management.
